Satemwa is a small privately owned company established in 1923, growing, processing and exporting coffee and a range of fair-trade certified insecticide free teas. Teas include rare artisanal white and black teas as well as other elegant oolong and ph-eur teas. Most of the tea is CTC type with an average of 2,500 tons black tea being produced per year. Satemwa prides itself on being able to tailor teas to a client's needs.
