Pottery
Dedza pottery creates high quality handcrafted pottery in many unique designs. Each of their unique pieces are dishwasher and microwave safe. Plates, cups and saucers for the catering trade are made using moulds so that they are uniform in size and stack easily, but the decorations are hand painted. Nearly all other shapes are thrown on potters wheels.
The handmade element of production means that Dedza pottery can make special shapes and decorations with no minimum order; there is just a modest one-off design fee.
All the glazes are 100% non-toxic so all tableware is completely safe for use with, or for storing, any kind of food or drink. They have been tested by the British Ceramic Research Association and meet all international safety standards. Oxfam Trading of U.K. before purchasing our products independently tested and passed as complying with European Union safety standards.
